How To Integrate ClickLeadz With Mailchimp #

Before you begin, please ensure that:
- You’ve installed the ClickLeadz Chrome extension.
- You’ve connected your Facebook group and created a spreadsheet for lead capture.
- You’ve set up membership questions for your Facebook group.
Once these are ready, follow the steps below to connect ClickLeadz with Mailchimp.
Step 1 — Log Into Your Mailchimp Account #
- Sign in to your Mailchimp dashboard.
- From the main menu, click Audience.
Step 2 — Select an Audience #
- If you already have an audience you want to use, note its name and continue to the next step.
- To create a new one:
- Click on More Option on the Right side of the page
- Click on Audience Settings
- Copy your Audience ID and keep it handy—you’ll need it during setup.

Step 3 — Get Your Mailchimp API Key #
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of Mailchimp.
- Go to Extras → API keys.
- Click Create A Key.
- Copy the generated API Key and save it in your notes.
Step 4 — Create A Tag Name #
- From the main menu, click Audience.
- Select Tag from the dropdown
- Click on create a “New Tag” button from the Right side
- Save this value—you’ll need it shortly.
Step 5 — Open Your ClickLeadz Extension #
- Click the ClickLeadz icon in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser.
- Locate your connected Facebook group.
- Click the Settings (⚙️) icon next to the group.
- Under Autoresponder Integration, select Mailchimp.
Step 6 — Enter Your Mailchimp Credentials #
- Click Credentials in the ClickLeadz integration window.
- Paste the following details:
- API Key
- Audience ID
- Tag Name
- Click Verify & Update.
You’ll see a green confirmation message once the connection is successful.
Integration Complete 🎉 #
Your ClickLeadz account is now successfully connected to Mailchimp.
From this point forward:
- Every new member you approve through ClickLeadz will be automatically added to your selected Mailchimp audience.
- Lead details—including names, answers to group questions, tags, and profile links—will be stored in your Google Sheet and ClickLeadz dashboard.
